How To Be A Small (one person) Distributor Machine!
How To Be A Small (one person) Distributor For Several Major Companies And Get More Exposure!
Personal business web pages are a niche of branding that helps Distripreneurs achieve exposure. This started out of the need for small business owners to advertise themselves online in a personable and professional manner whereby they could show a stake hold or interest in all their businesses, distributorships, interests, etc. Without their identity sacrificed for the companies they represent.
Small business owners complain to me all the time on how they have sacrificed their time, energy, savings, etc, building a brand for other people and/or companies. Many times they have been given tools, such as a website, marketing materials, upline, but find that upon reading the terms of services that they have leased everything and own nothing.
Personal business WebPages, or sometimes known as Personal Web Portals help business owners leverage themselves out of the weight of what I call sacrifice marketing (using your money and time to ultimately market others). In other words, marketing for other companies such as MLMs where all prospecting benefits are shared until you decide to leave, then upon finding out in the Terms of service that you really aren’t the Captain of your ship.
Personal / Business Web Portals are for People Who:
1) Rep one or more distributorship (the classic distripreneur)
Why? Because your website acts as the hub (focal point). Thereby you can point your users to your branded site and link to all your business interests, such as distributors sites and affiliate sites from there. It also can promote non-related things such as favorite sports teams, family photos, school affiliations, etc.
2) Own more than one business
Why? Because many times, even in your own marketing, you may not have enough time to go through all the businesses that you may own. So although you may be the Owner of a Mortgage, your prospective client, could now know that you also own a landscaping company and residential staging company as well
3) Have a Significant other who reps or owns a business
Why? Because Personal / Business Web Portals are great for husband / wife teams or other forms of significant partnerships who want to help brand each other. Say one partner has a beauty salon, but also reps Avon products through an affiliate distributorship; she might also include her husband’s businesses which could be Accounting business an affiliate site that sells QuickBooks Products. In other words, it’s a great way to tie-in seemingly non-related.
4) From time to time change affiliations
Why? Because most distripreneurs don’t represent the same company forever. Real Estate agents and Mortgage Reps come to mind. How great would it to be to keep your hard work - the acquisition of your clients. Then if you are with ACME Real Estate and then go to ABC Real Estate you branded yourself as the expert, not the company. The barrier to exit has been lifted, because your personal / business Web portal acts as your point of contact.
